PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a class D amplifier capable of realizing high efficiency and less noise to the extent causing no trouble in practical use while suppressing increase in cost or the like. SOLUTION: The class D amplifier S amplifies a digital sound signal Sin and outputs the signal to a speaker 11. The amplifier S is provided with a preamplifier 2 and a modulator 3 for modulating the sound signal Sin to generate a modulated signal Spw; a first amplifier circuit 9L and a second amplifier circuit 9H each having different size of power source power, for driving and amplifying the generated modulated signal Spw to respectively output the modulated signal to a tweeter 11A or a woofer 11B which are previously correlated.
