PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication terminal transmitting a message whose message format is revised into a message format different from that of a received message after editing a reply message generated from the received message. SOLUTION: The mobile communication terminal (mobile phone) 10 includes: a message communication section 110; a reply message generating section 113; a message edit section 114; a message form designation section 115; and a control section 116. The reply message generating section 113 generates message configuration data for editing a reply message addressed to a sender of a received message on the basis of a reply instruction operation for instructing a reply to the received message. The control section 116 generates transmission message data whose message format is equal to a message format designated by a message format designation section 115 by using the message configuration data of the reply message edited by the message edit section 114 and controls the message communication section 110 for transmitting the transmission message data.
