PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray tube arrangement and heating control method of an X-ray tube, capable of preventing variation in images due to an X-ray tube current exceeding a set value, since filament temperature will rise not too high, even when a photographing button is depressed for a time shorter than normal. SOLUTION: In an X-ray tube control arrangement, actual heating is performed after an X-ray tube filament is heated by pre-flashing at the start timing of photographing, after pre-heating. The arrangement includes a detecting means for detecting the period of preheating, and a control means which changes and controls condition of the preflashing to the X-ray tube filament according to the detection result of the detecting means.
