PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk device capable of correcting the attitude of a small-diameter disk toward a center line when the small-diameter disk is loaded in a attitude shifted from the center line, and preventing the start of a clamping operation in the shifted state of the small-diameter disk. SOLUTION: A detection lever 21 having a right side detection projection 23 formed thereon includes a regulation moving member 60 disposed before a support point shaft 25 to be freely turned, and a regulation projection 62 is formed on this regulation moving member 60. A holding recess 71 is formed to hold the regulation projection 62 in a regulation position when the detection lever 21 is turned clockwise. When the small-diameter disk Ds is loaded in a state of being shifted to the right side, it abuts on the regulation projection 62 and the attitude is corrected toward the center line O-O. When a large-diameter disk is loaded, the regulation projection 62 is pushed by the outer peripheral edge of the large-diameter disk and retreats in a right direction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
