PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide information required for planned traveling and safe traveling to a vehicle driver when necessary. SOLUTION: A terminal device capable of connecting to a public radio LAN is mounted on each moving body like a vehicle, and a driver of a moving body acquires the location information of the other moving body by communication between terminal devices through the public radio LAN to support the traveling of an own moving body. In this traveling support system, the terminal device includes a first means connected to an access point of the public radio LAN, a second means for detecting at least one of a present location and an traveling speed of the moving body, and a third means which returns the information of the present location of the moving body to a request source in response to a request from the other moving body through the first means and the access point of the public radio LAN and requests the terminal device of the other moving body to provide the present location of the other moving body, through the access point of the public radio LAN and informs the driver of the moving body of the information of the present location returned from the terminal device of the other moving body.
