HOWLING SUPPRESSING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a howling suppressing apparatus detecting production of howling with higher accuracy in comparison with a conventional howling suppressing apparatus and reducing sound quality deterioration following suppression of howling. SOLUTION: The howling suppressing apparatus includes: a signal division section 13 for dividing an acoustic signal into a plurality of components; a howling detection section 14 for detecting production of howling by each of the components divided by the signal division section 13; a howling suppression section 15 for suppressing the howling by each of the components from which production of howling is detected by the howling detection section 14; and a signal composite section 16 for composing each component whose howling is suppressed by the howling suppression section 15 with each component from which no production of howling is detected by the howling detection section 14.
