PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the productivity of a heat storage device by shortening the filling time of a heat storage material. SOLUTION: The heat storage device 10 comprises a first and second heat storage modules 20A and 20B concentrically laminated through a separator plate 50. The first and second heat storage modules include a plurality of heat storage material filling spaces 21A and 21B for filling a heat storage material Sh, and a plurality of fluid passages 31A and 31B for passing a fluid Fu, respectively. The spiral directions of the respective heat storage material filling spaces in the adjacent heat storage modules are mutually reversed. The separator is provided with a plurality of intermediate communicating holes 53 so that all the heat storage material filling spaces of the first heat storage module communicate with each of the heat storage material filling spaces in the second heat storage module. A lid plate 70 includes a plurality of upper communicating holes 53 communicating with the plurality of heat storage material filling spaces of the second heat storage module.
