PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a blade from being deformed during coil insertion, by providing a fitting portion for suppressing deformation of the blade to the outer circumferential side of a stator core between the blade for holding a coil and a stripper for inserting the coil into a slot of the stator core by pressing. SOLUTION: In the coil inserting device, comprising a plurality of blades 9 arranged along the circumferential direction while facing the internal teeth 7 of a cylindrical stator core 1, and a stripper 21 capable of intruding into the stator core 1 and inserting a coil held by the blades 9 into a slot 3 formed between the internal teeth 7 of the stator core 1 by pressing the coil, between the blade 9 and the stripper 21, a fitting portion 25 for suppressing deformation of the blade 9 is further provided to the outer circumferential side of the stator core 1 at coil insertion.
