PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera head efficiently radiating heat generated by heat sources in the camera head even if it is equipped with a dust-proofing and drip-proofing structure. SOLUTION: A heat radiating member 1B having a higher heat conductivity than the heat conductivity of a lens barrel 10 is disposed farther backward in the direction of the optical axis than the lens barrel 10. Heat generated in a CPU 19a is transferred to the heat radiating member 1B through a mount section 1C, and heat generated in a CCD 12a is transferred to the heat radiating member 1B through the lens barrel 10. Since the outer circumference of the heat radiating member 1B is always in contact with the external atmosphere, it is maintained at the temperature level of the external atmosphere, and the heat generated in the CPU 19a and the CCD 12a is efficiently radiated into the outer space.
