摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit and a method for controlling a FET or the other transistor element, provided for supplying electric power to a circuit substrate capable of being inserted into an active back plane, and for enabling control of the through rate of a rush current. SOLUTION: A FET control circuit is designed to generate a FET control signal for controlling the FET so as to form an output signal, that responds to the input signal in response to the input signal which is variable in a predetermined mode. The control circuit is configured so as to prevent generation of an uncontrollable step in an output, when the FET control signal reaches a level that is sufficient for controlling the FET. In one embodiment, a comparator for comparing the FET control signal with reference value, corresponding to a current for charging a control terminal of the FET, is provided for preventing the input signal from varying, until the FET control signal exceeds the reference value.
