PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve safe door closing motion regardless of a weight of a door itself and a weight of a stored article stored inside the door with respect to a refrigerator comprising a door device for closing a front opening section of a housing by a pivoted door. SOLUTION: As the refrigerator comprises the housing (refrigerator body 100) having the front opening section, a door 110 mounted on the front opening section, a connecting section (hinge 101) for rotatably connecting the door 110 with the housing 100, a self-closing function section 13 mounted at a housing 100 side and having a self-closing function, a connecting section 140 mounted at a door 110 side opposite to the self-closing function section 130, and a speed-reducing function section for reducing a closing speed of the door 110 when it is closed, the usability and safety of the door device can be improved.
