PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of improving effect of dispersed microparticles by changing a diffusing state of the microparticles in accompany with opening and closing an opening/closing door. SOLUTION: The refrigerator 20a comprises an ion generator 14 generating ion from its discharge surface 14a, an air distribution passage 13 for conveying the ion generated from the ion generator 14, a blow-out opening 22 formed on the air distribution passage 13 for releasing the ion to the outside of the refrigerator, and the opening/closing door 21 for opening and closing the refrigerator 20a. The air distribution passage 13 is composed of a first air distribution passage 13c of which the blowing direction is horizontal or downward with respect to the horizontal direction, and a second air distribution passage 13d of which the blowing direction is downward with respect to the blowing direction of the first air distribution passage, and the blow-out opening 22 is composed of a first supply opening 22a communicated with the first air distribution passage 13c, and a second supply opening 22b communicated with the second air distribution passage 13d and closed by the opening/closing door 21 when the opening/closing door 21 is closed.
