PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide articles which are expected to exhibit health effects or animal- or plant-activating effects of germanium and tourmaline, and which have shapes capable of being easily handled. SOLUTION: Vessels 1 or plates 2 are formed by using a raw material, obtained by pulverizing germanium and tourmaline raw ores to obtain powders, then mixing the powders with clay for celadon, and heat treating the resulting mixture two or more times.
