PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably perform sheet registering operation, by surely preventing the tip of a succeeding sheet from pushing out the rear end of a preceding sheet in an intermediate loading part. SOLUTION: This device has a sheet rear end pressing flag 400 for pressing down the rear end of the sheet S loaded in a first sheet loading part. The sheet rear end pressing flag 400 is provided with a roller 402 freely rotatable in the sheet registering direction so as to relieve resistance of the sheet moving in the sheet registering direction.
