PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wood processing method which permits easy shaping and is capable of giving suitable strengths uniformly. SOLUTION: The method comprises the compression process wherein each of a plurality of woods, which have been cut so as for each other's grains to be nearly the same from a pure wood of a non-compression state with previous addition of a volume as much as one reduced by compression, is individually compressed in the atmosphere of steam of high temperature and high pressure, and the bonding process wherein a plurality of the woods individually compressed in the compression process are dried, then put one over another so that the grains of a plurality of woods may become aligned, and bonded.
