PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method for mine waste water which enables a cost reduction of waste water treatment by reducing the amount of precipitate without deteriorating the removal rate of arsenic. SOLUTION: After magnesium hydrate is added as a neutralizing agent to mine waste water containing arsenic and iron sulfides, the mine waste water is agitated to be neutralized, and coprecipitation of a magnesium sulfate precipitate and an arsenic precipitate is caused to separate these precipitates.
