AMINE COMPOUND AND USES THEREOF

A novel organic compound absorbing visible light. The compound is effective in widening the choice of materials usable in preparing a photopolymerizable composition, etc. Also provided are: an organic material useful as a host compound for organic electroluminescent elements; and a use thereof. The compound is an aromatic tertiary amine having one or more specific groups in the same molecule. The organic material is a luminescent agent for organic electroluminescent elements which contains the amine. An organic electroluminescent element employing the amine compound and a use of the element are further provided.
