<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fundus camera capable of easily recognizing the cause of an error at the time of an automatic focus operation. <P>SOLUTION: This fundus camera comprises: a photographing optical system including a focus lens movable in an optical axis direction so as to photograph the fundus of an eye to be examined; a fundus observation optical system for imaging the fundus; an anterior ocular segment observation optical system for imaging an anterior ocular segment; a display means capable of switching and displaying a fundus image imaged by the fundus observation optical system and an anterior ocular segment image imaged by the anterior ocular segment observation optical system; a focus detection means for detecting a focus state with the fundus of the eye to be examined; an automatic focus means for driving the focus lens on the basis of the detected result of the detection means; a signal input means for inputting trigger signals for operating the automatic focus means after the fundus image is displayed at the display means; and a control means for executing control so as to switch the display of the display means from the fundus image to the anterior ocular segment image while the automatic focus means is operated by the input of the trigger signals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
