<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a catalyst for removing nitrogen oxide which enhances a catalyst performance by making the catalyst porous without cracking a surface of the catalyst, and to produce the catalyst. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method for the catalyst for removing the nitrogen oxide is characterized in that (1) a hydrate of titanium oxide having a specific surface area of 200 m<SP>2</SP>/g or more, titanium hydroxide or titanium oxide having a low sintering degree; colloidal silica having a shape that particles are continued to a chain shape or a lengthy shape, an inorganic fiber, an active ingredient, and water are added to form a catalyst paste and to make a metal, an inorganic fiber net-like substance or an inorganic fiber woven cloth carry the catalyst paste and it is calcined. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
