PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of reducing the road noises over wide frequency bands. SOLUTION: A plurality of steps 30 are formed in a step forming range 70 of a tread part 10 or a side wall part 20. The steps 30 have different shapes, at least two, and are arranged so that their distances in the tire radial direction from the rotary shaft of the tire 1 are different from one another, at least two different distances. This allows reducing vibrations in a plurality of frequency bands even in case vibration is generated in the tire 1 when the vehicle runs.
