PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a desired route requested by user's desires, without complicated operations. SOLUTION: This method comprises displaying a first route R1 decided by a route search, between a departure place and a destination through a main monitor 2; deciding a second route R2 which is different from the first route R1 by the route searching between the departure place and the destination through a rear monitor 3; the second route R2 is transmitted to the main monitor 2; displaying the first route R1 and the second route R2 on the main monitor 2 overlapped; and resetting a third route R3 by combining the first route R1 and the second route R2 in accordance with the instructions from user, whereby the third route R3 of user request can be reset by freely combining the first route R1 which is route-searched by the main monitor 2 and the second route R2 which is route-searched by the rear monitor 3.
