PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescence display panel in which short circuit is unlikely to occur, and also to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The organic EL display panel (13) comprises a substrate (7), a first display electrode (8) formed on the substrate (7), an organic function layer (11) formed on the first display electrode (8), and a second display electrode (12) formed on the organic function layer (11). The organic function layer (11) comprises organic material layers (9, 10) of at least one layer. The organic material layer (9) of at least one layer includes a thick film having a thicker film in the vicinity of the end of the second display electrode (12), compared with the central portion of the intersecting part of the first and second display electrodes (8, 12).
