PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a remodeled single sliding double sash with heat insulation and sound insulation properties by using an existing single sliding sash as it is. SOLUTION: The existing single sliding sash 2 is left and used as it is to provide a double sash by mounting a new single sliding sash 4 on an exterior side of the existing single sliding sash 2 by fixing a new sash frame 41 to a jaw part 11 of a concrete skeleton 1 of a setup remodeled opening face of the existing single sliding sash 2. The existing single sliding sash 2 and the new single sliding sash 4 are connected to each other using a plurality of connecting metal pieces 5 provided on stiles 232, 432 of an existing sash door 23 and a new sash door 43 to be freely and simultaneously openable and closeable. By removing detachable screws 54 of the connecting metal pieces 5, the sashes become freely openable and closeable independently so that the sash doors may be cleaned. By connecting the sashes using the connecting metal pieces 5, both sash doors 23, 43 can be locked or unlocked in an integrated manner by operating an existing crescent 24 of the existing single sliding sash 2.
