PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unsaturated polyester resin composition for a decorating board, excellent in various physical properties such as toughness, durability, weather resistance, heat resistance, mechanical strength, etc. SOLUTION: This unsaturated polyester resin composition for the decorating board, containing the unsaturated polyester, polymerizable monomers, a metal soap and a paraffin is provided with that an alkyl-substituted styrene-based monomer and a (meth)acrylate-based monomer having≤150 molecular weight are used as essential components of the polymerizable monomers, and the mass ratio of the unsaturated polyester to the polymerizable monomers is (55-75):(25-45). The polymerizable monomers contain 0-20 mass% monomer having <120°C boiling point, 45-85 mass% alkyl-substituted styrene-based monomer and 15-55 mass% (meth)acrylate-based monomer having≤150 molecular weight. The metal soap contains essentially a cobalt salt, and has 0.01-0.05 mass% total metal content based on the total amount, and the paraffin has 40-80°C melting point and is contained by 0.01-0.1 mass%.
