PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic resin composition for use in laser welding which improves such deficiencies in the external appearance as the burrs and voids occurring at the time of bonding a synthetic resin-made components by means of laser welding, and to provide a synthetic resin-made component by using the thermoplastic resin composition for use in laser welding. SOLUTION: The thermoplastic resin composition contains a bistetrazole compound and (A) a graft copolymer that (a1) a crosslinked acrylic rubber obtained by polymerizing (a1-2) as the following in the presence of (a1-1) as the following is furthermore grafted thereon with (a2) as the following. Namely, (a1-1): crosslinked polymer particles; (a1-2) a mixture of an acrylic ester, a monomer having in the molecule two or more of (meth)acryloyl groups or vinyl groups and a monomer having in the molecule an allyl group; and a2: at least one kind of monomer selected from the group consisting of an aromatic vinyl monomer, a vinyl cyanide monomer a (meth)acrylic ester monomer and other vinyl monomers.
