PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily diagnose abnormality such as vibration and noise, while allowing a worker to move to an optional place of a lift. SOLUTION: A measuring sensor 13 is connected to the portable abnormality diagnosing apparatus 12, to measure the vibration and the noise in the optional place of the lift. Data measured by the measuring sensor 13 is analyzed on a frequency by a measuring data analyzing part 15. An abnormality diagnosing part 16 diagnoses the existence of abnormality on the basis of this frequency-analyzed data and data stored in a storage part 14, and diagnoses its abnormal place when the abnormality exists. A diagnostic result provided by this abnormality diagnosing part 16 is outputted via a diagnostic result output part 17. Thus, the abnormality such as the vibration and the noise can be easily diagnosed while allowing the worker to move to the optional place of the lift by using the portable abnormality diagnosing apparatus 12.
