PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator device capable of closing car doors at the time of completion of getting on/off of passengers regardless of the number of passengers. SOLUTION: Passenger detecting devices 13, 14, 15 detecting passage of passengers are provided in the vicinity of the car doors 3A, 3B, and door closing means 9 to 11 for closing the fully opened car doors 3A, 3B by detecting the final passenger by the passenger detecting devices 13, 14, 15 are provided. This structure enables the fully opened car doors 3A, 3B to close at the time of completion of getting on/off of the passengers, regardless of the number of the passengers and whether they get on or off the elevator.
