PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a micromanipulator and a microhandling device including it, accurately controlling attachment and detachment of a material to be processed with good reproducibility, and reduced in size. SOLUTION: This micromanipulator includes: a glass capillary 101 for holding a material to be processed; a pyroelectric element 102 fitted to the glass capillary 101; and a lamp irradiation system 103 for heating the pyroelectric element 102, wherein at least either in sucking the material to be processed to the glass capillary 101, or in detaching the material to be processed from the glass capillary 101, pyroelectricity generated by the pyroelectric element 102 is used.
