PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hand-held power tool, performing machining work with a small labor while easiness of holding is secured. SOLUTION: This hand-held power tool 1 is used substantially horizontally with a grip part 7 held. In the power tool, the grip part 7 having a built-in transmission shaft 6 for transmitting the driving force of a motor 2 to a machining part 4 is provided between the driving part 3 having a motor 2 at the back and a head part 5 having a machining part 4 for machining a part to be machined in the front, and the center of gravity G is set in the grip part 7.
