PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems wherein in a structure of bringing a pressurizing belt into contact with a fixing roller by uniform timing to start fixing, temperature of the pressurizing belt at the time of starting fixing does not reach a desired temperature and induces fixing failure. SOLUTION: Timing of bringing a pressurizing roller into contact with a fixing roller is changed on starting fixing in accordance with a detected temperature of the pressurizing belt.
