Roller for smoothing long paper runs has a hard metal core (2) that is coated on its outer side with an elastic matrix material (4) with a surrounding elastic coating layer (3). The matrix material is a mixture of thermosetting plastic and thermal plastic. The proportion of thermosetting plastic is between 50 and 80 percent, optimally around 70 percent. An Independent claim is made for a manufacture method for an elastic roller where an elastic matrix material is made of a mixture of thermal and thermosetting plastic. |
