<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric dust collection type air cleaning apparatus cleaning bad room air, which enables an electrification of powder dust by a simpler method, and is little in ozone-producing amount, and further which is easy to carry as a small-sized charged portion, and enables the control corresponding to the variation of powder dust numbers in room air. <P>SOLUTION: The air cleaning apparatus comprises a body 1 having a dust collecting portion 8 for collecting a charged particle, and a charged unit 6 for electrizing particles in air, the charged unit 6 being detachable. Further, the charged unit 6 has a constitution comprising the charged portion 12 consisting of a counter electrode 11 opposed against a sharp discharge electrode 10 with an interval, a control portion enabling a communication with the body 1, and an electric source, so that it is possible to provide the air cleaning apparatus which is small-sized and easy to carry, and enables the dust collection with the dust collecting portion 8 by the efficient electrization of the powder dust. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
