PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separation type air conditioner surely guiding the condensed water dew-condensed on a side plate covered by a connecting portion cover and a connecting portion fixed to the side plate outside of a housing, to an outdoor base constituting a bottom face of an outdoor unit, thus an installation face or the like can be prevented from being wetted by the water leaked to the outside of the housing. SOLUTION: A guide portion is formed to receive the condensed water running on an inner face side of the connecting portion cover covering the connecting portion, an opening hole communicated with the outdoor base is formed on a lower face portion with respect to a fixing position of connecting portion of the housing side plate, and a tip of the guide portion of the connecting portion cover is projected from the communication hole to directly guide the condensed water to the outdoor base.
