PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an apparatus small-sized and space saving of an installation space possible, and to reduce time and labor and a cost required to work the cavity of a rotary die or a master die. SOLUTION: This apparatus is provided with the master die 2 which is provided on a lower die 1, the rotary die 3 which is provided in the cavity 10 of this master die 2 turnably forward and backward at a prescribed angle, a slave die 15 which is engaged with the negative angle forming part 2a of the master die 2 when pressing and by which gathering bending of a metallic sheet 6 is performed with a gathering bending edge 15a at the tip and a pad 16 for forming the metallic sheet 6 by pressing the upper part of the master die 2 which is connected to the negative angle forming part 2a when pressing and the forming part 3b of the rotary die 3. The master die 2 is formed turnably forward and backward at a prescribed angle around the axis 4 along the axial direction of the rotary die 3. A supporting part 13 for supporting the rotary die 3 is formed in the upper position of the cavity 10 which crosses the perpendicular L which is passed through the axial center P1 of the rotary die 3.
