A human body backbone measuring/displaying system for determining the three-dimensional coordinates of a backbone and measurement data on a turning angle by scanning the backbone with a predetermined measuring element, simulating the backbone from the measurement data, and displaying a three-dimensional simulated backbone image by utilizing computer graphics. The human body backbone measuring/displaying system (1) comprises a backbone measuring unit (3) for measuring a bend or a turning (torsional) angle of the backbone of a human body as deviation measurement data from a reference value, a unit (5) for inputting sex and height data on a person to be measured, an image processor (7) for capturing the deviation measurement data from the backbone measuring unit (3) and the data from the input unit (5) and forming a three-dimensional backbone image of the person to be measured based on the deviation measurement data and the sex and height data on the person to be measured, and a display (9) for displaying image data from the image processor (7).
