AUTHENTICITY DETERMINATION OBJECT AND AUTHENTICITY DETERMINATION LABEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an authenticity determination object that can be hardly fabricated and altered and can easily determine authenticity, and to provide an authenticity determination label.

SOLUTION: The authenticity determination object includes an information display layer 1 for displaying information, a prism layer formed in the form of a polygonal column and arranging a plurality of prisms 7 provided to oppose a first face 10 and a second face 11 from among the side to the information display layer, and a low refractive index layer 8 brought into contact with the first face and the second face of the prism respectively and having a lower refractive index than the prism 7. The authenticity determination object arranges the first face 10 so that an incident angle to the first face 10 is larger than a critical angle in the first face 10 by allowing an optical beam incident on the prism 7 from the angle of a prescribed range to pass through the prism 7.
