PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lighten load applied to fingers when drag-and-drop operation is repeated or dragging operation of a long distance is performed.

SOLUTION: A mouse operation support apparatus is provided with: a display control means 52 for displaying a prescribed operation screen 30 on a display apparatus 31; a position detection means 53 for detecting the present position of a cursor 13 on the operation screen 30; a first control means 54 for holding an object designated by the cursor 13 as a target to be dragged when the cursor 13 exists in a first area 10 included in the operation screen 30 and a click event of a mouse 36 is generated and then maintaining the holding state also after releasing the click button of the mouse 36; and a second control means 55 for dropping the object to end the holding state when the cursor 13 exists in a second area 20 and a click event of the mouse 36 is generated.
