摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evade a differential data transfer stop state of a volume pair due to the influence of other pairs and to equalize the loads of physical paths by discriminating the optimum distribution of the physical paths to a logical path. SOLUTION: A storage network system comprises a host computer 10 and a plurality of storage subsystems 20. The host computer or the storage subsystem 20 checks a pair state of a duplication source logical volume 26p and a duplicated logical volume 26s, sets a coefficient value uniquely determined by the pair state as the load value of the volume pair, sets the sum of load values of volume pairs belonging to a group to which the duplication source volume belongs as a group load value, and allocates a plurality of group load values consisting of the sum of load values of volume pairs in a plurality of groups and the physical paths corresponding to the group load values as a logical path which is a virtual communication path of volume pairs belonging to the groups.
