PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the memory capacity of an output buffer used for oversampling processing of decoded data in digital audio. SOLUTION: The region of the output buffer 5 is divided to a region A and a region B. In the first half of a frame N, the decoded data is written in the region B and the data of the preceding frame N-1 written in the first half of the region A is outputted. Also, in the second half of the frame N, the previously stored decoded data is read out of the region B and is written together with the oversampled data into the first half portions of the region A and the region B, and the remaining data of the preceding frame N-1 of the region A of the output buffer 5 is outputted.
