PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head suspension of a high resonance point having a low rigid gimbal. SOLUTION: The head suspension is provided with a flat-plate-shaped load beam, the gimbal formed integrally with the load beam and having a slider loading part and a reinforcing plate joined to the load beam. The reinforcing plate has a pivot abutting on the slider loading part of the gimbal, ribs integrally formed on both sides of the reinforcing plate and a corner formed integrally with the reinforcing plate at the tip of the reinforcing plate continuously to the ribs and the rib on one side is continued to the rib on the other side through the corner.
