PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noncontact temperature sensor enhanced in detection accuracy. SOLUTION: One end side of an incident hole 132a formed in an upper case part 130 is directed to a detected object when using the noncontact temperature sensor 100 concerned in the present invention. The upper case part 130 absorbs thereby an infrared ray to generate heat. A resin film 150 provided with a thermistor 152A is attached to not the upper case part 130 but a bottom plate part 142 of a lower case part 140. The heat in the upper case part 130 is thereby not transferred directly to the resin film 150. The thermistor 152 A is thereby restrained from being affected by the heat in the the noncontact temperature sensor 100 concerned in the present invention, compared with a conventional noncontact temperature sensor wherein the heat generated in the upper case part is directly transferred to the resin film, and resultingly the detection precision is enhanced compared with the conventional noncontact temperature sensor.
