PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-supporting hanger apparatus which facilitates the removal of clothes for wearing by hanging the clothes onto the self-supporting hanger apparatus by using hangers, and reduces the burden of moving an iron during ironing by adjusting the height of an iron rest on which the heated iron is put. SOLUTION: The self-supporting hanger apparatus 1 is used in combination with an ironing board 20, and is composed of bases 2 and 3 installed on a floor surface F, a support 4 provided nearly vertically to the floor surface from the bases, clothes supporting members 8 provided on the support at heights at which a user hangs clothes in a standing posture, and the iron rest 5 provided vertically movably and fixably to a desirable height in the support and having a surface to put the iron 10 thereon.
