A resuscitation apparatus comprises an air pump 5 with air inlet valve 6, mask 1 for covering the nose and mouth, with air inlet and outlet valves 2 and 9 and hose 3, wherein the hose 3 is connected to pump 5 with a filter 4, acting as a connecting element, arranged to fit tightly into an aperture in the pumps, the aperture being large enough for the mask 1, valves 2, 9 and hose 3 to be inserted in the pump 5 when not in use, whereafter the filter 4 may be inverted and inserted in the aperture to act as a lid. The air intake in the filter 4 may be covered with a rubber cover when the filter is used as a lid. |
