The tambourine has a drum head with a thin wood plate made from massive wood, where the plate has a thickness of about 3 mm to 5 mm and a diameter of about 16 cm to 28 cm. The wood plate is firmly glued with a massive wood hoop, which posses a height of about 40mm to 60mm, where a tone pitch of the tambourine is determined by the change of the diameter of the plate, and hoop height of rings.
