The present invention relates to stabilizing compositions for chlorine containing polymers and resins, which are free from metals, and which contained at least one or more hydrazide compounds of formula (I) and at least one co-stabiliser. These compositions are particularly useful for the stabilization of PVC resins; the stabilized compositions can be advantageously used for manufacturing of pipes or fittings, compact or foamed sheets, films (rigid or flexible), profiles.
