<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust characteristics of an image signal and a sound signal to be outputted while taking characteristics of a device at a connection destination into consideration. <P>SOLUTION: The portable videophone 100 is provided with a camera 102 which images an external object and generates the image signal, a microphone 103 which receives a sound and generates the sound signal, an output portion 107 which transmits the image signal and sound signal to the outside, an analysis portion 104 which generates an analysis result by analyzing the image signal outputted by the output portion 107 based upon another image signal generated by imaging an image reproduced by external equipment and another sound signal generated by receiving a sound generated by reproducing the sound signal sent from the output portion 107 by the external equipment, and a parameter adjustment portion 106 which adjusts characteristics of the image signal and sound signal based on the analytic result so that the image signal and sound signal that the output portion 107 sends to the outside are in the best states. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
