摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular drive mechanism capable of miniaturizing a drive mechanism or improving fuel consumption, and to provide a controller capable of improving fuel consumption during vehicle deceleration. <P>SOLUTION: By providing a change-over clutch CO or a change-over brake BO, a transmission mechanism can be changed between a variable speed state and a stepped speed state, and the driving mechanism provided with both advantages of a fuel consumption improving effect of a transmission electrically changing a gear ratio, and a high transmission efficiency of a gear type transmission mechanically transmitting power can be provided. Since a power distribution mechanism is changed to a differential state by a change-over control means 50 when it is judged that regenerative braking control is possible by a regenerative control possibility determining means 84, and engine turning stoppage is possible by an engine turning stoppage possibility determining means 82, a speed ratio &gamma; of an automatic speed change part 20 is controlled such that a regenerative efficiency becomes optimum by a regenerative efficiency optimizing control means 86 on the basis of a regenerative efficiency of a second motor M2 and a loss L of a first motor M1 to improve fuel consumption. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
