<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for printing in a printing apparatus, which is connected via a network, for easily setting a print setting when it is instructed to print documents. <P>SOLUTION: The method for printing comprises the steps of: generating a setting icon for specific printing setting corresponding to a specific printing apparatus being connected to a data processing system and arranging the icon on a display screen; generating an icon for a document file to be printed and arranging the icon on the display screen; converting a document data into a print data by using a printing setting referenced by the setting icon and sending a corresponding print job to the printing apparatus; and starting printing by using the printing setting. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
