PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor with the size reducible in the axial direction. SOLUTION: A motor section 2 constituting a pump 1 comprises a substantially tubular bottomed yoke housing 4, a rotor 5 rotatably housed in a yoke housing 4, with an armature 10 formed by applying a winding 9 to a core 8 and a commutator 11 being secured to a rotary shaft 12, and a base plate 20 having a through hole 6a for passing the rotary shaft 12 and closing the opening 4a of the yoke housing 4. The rotary shaft 12 has a tip end, supported on the housing 4 via a first bearing 14 and the distal end supported on the base plate 20 via a second bearing 15 being held on the inner circumferential surface of the through hole 6a.
