PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber member for restricting the occurrence of crack starting from a cord end surface. SOLUTION: A plurality of cords 10 are embedded in a rubber sheet, and end surfaces 10b of the cords 10 are coated with a vulcanized adhesive. With this structure, in the case of coating the rubber 11, the rubber 11 is coated without generating a clearance between the cord 1, and formation of a free end is prevented.
